COLCHESTER's first-ever large-scale house music event is taking over Castle Park today.
Musik in the Park, which will take place on Saturday, will see headline acts Roger Sanchez, Jess Bays and George Mensah perform as part of a star-studded line-up.
Roger Sanchez is best known for his hit song Another Chance, which will concert-goers be no doubt be eager to hear.
Early bird tickets have sold out for the event but there are still plenty of tickets left to be snapped up.
General admission tickets are priced at between £30 and £50, with VIP tickets being priced between £130 and £160.
Event organiser James Boyd said: "We have one of the best productions with lots of visuals, dancers and performers.
"There are also funfair rides, food vendors, stools selling merchandise and reasonably priced bars with beers being served from £5."
Co- organisers, Dan Bartle and Loukas Webb, said they are looking forward to hosting Colchester's inaugural large house music event.
They added: “We have putting on events local and in Ibiza for years and are excited to bring Colchester’s first dedicated house music event to Castle Park."
