A NEW Japanese restaurant could be even bigger and better than anticipated if an expansion bid is approved.
Joyato Sushi and Grill is taking on a unit at the Northern Gateway Leisure Park in Colchester.
Earlier this month, the restaurant edged one step closer to opening as planning bosses approved blueprints for illuminated lighting which is due to be installed outside the unit.

Restaurant bosses are now looking to alter their new home and are seeking permission to install a mezzanine floor.
It is hoped the alterations will provide “additional restaurant area, customer toilets, and staff areas”.
Colchester Council has the final say.
